Professional Headshot

Hi, I'm Trisha. A bit on my background, I am a Registered Nurse, currently advancing my education in a Masters of Nursing program with a focus in Public Health. I chose this particular route because diabetes remains a major factor in our public healthcare. I am also currently studying to become board certified in diabetic education.

Now, why am I so passionate about diabetes. I have Type 1 Diabetes. I was diagnosed at 13 and have been trying to figure out life with diabetes ever since. This diagnosis has fueled my passion to help others navigate diabetes too.

The state of healthcare in the United States is a lot of things and expensive is one of them. The diabetic community, unfortunately, bares a lot of that burden. The cost of daily care can cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars. This does not include the costs of seeking care through a medical provider. This also does not include the cost of simply checking in with a diabetic educator.

I am creating a space to provide evidenced based diabetic education. All individuals who may find this information useful are welcome to join and learn. I will be sharing information here as well as my YouTube channel.

In the spirit of those that discovered insulin this will remain a free service. I will be adding virtual group and individual classes in the future but for now thank you for stopping by.
